The Silly KidOne day a Kid climbed upon the roof of a house, and this made him feel very proud and brave. As he was looking around and thinking how high he was, he saw a Wolf in the yard below. He knew that the Wolf could not get him, and so he began to call him names and make fun of him. "Well, well!" said the Wolf; "you are not half so brave as you seem to be. It is not you that laughs at me; it is the high roof where you stand." |
